The struggling Chicago Blackhawks (24-24-8) will try to avoid a sweep against the Vegas Golden Knights (36-15-4) and snap a six-game losing streak Tuesday when they visit T-Mobile Arena as big road underdogs.
The Blackhawks lost 4-2 at Vegas on October 24, and they will be playing back-to-back nights after falling 6-1 to the Arizona Coyotes on Monday.
Betting line: The Golden Knights opened as -210 favorites (wager $210 to win $100); the total is at six goals, according to sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. (Line updates and matchup report)

Why the Blackhawks can pay on the NHL lines
Chicago will break its skid at some point and still has offensive firepower as long as Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews lace up their skates.

Coming off a brutal loss at Arizona in the second game of a three-game road trip, the Blackhawks should be primed to bounce back in this spot, especially since they have won two of their last three under this scenario in the second game of a back-to-back.
The last time they played in a back-to-back situation, they beat the Detroit Red Wings 5-1 on the road.
Why the Golden Knights can pay on the NHL lines
The Golden Knights have beaten Chicago twice and should be more than ready to rebound as well following a 4-1 home loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday after a six-game road trip.
Vegas looked tired versus Philadelphia and traveled more than 7,000 miles during their trip, still going 4-2, with all four wins coming as underdogs, according to the OddsShark NHL Database.

The Golden Knights still have just four regulation losses at home, with two of them coming in their last two games there.
Smart betting pick
Who could have thought going into this season that Chicago would be a good bet to miss the playoffs for the first time in 10 years while Vegas would be a near-lock to make the postseason in its inaugural campaign.
But that is where we are at this point of the season, and the nightmares for the Blackhawks have continued on their current trip.
They have scored only one goal so far in the first two games and 10 during their losing streak overall. Those offensive struggles will lead to a lower-scoring game here, as five of the past six home games for Vegas have gone under the total. Bet the under again.
NHL betting trends
Chicago is 0-5 in its last five games.
Vegas is 17-8 in its last 25 games.
The total has gone over in four of Vegas’ last five games.
