Roma may reportedly consider offers for their star goalkeeper Alisson in the summer amid reported interest from Liverpool.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Sport Witness), the Reds and Paris Saint-Germain have been tracking the Brazilian, who is having a brilliant 2017-18 term.
The report added that Roma director of football Monchi will “put up a wall” to resist any offers for the stopper mid-season, with Alisson himself also said to be unconvinced about possibly changing clubs in January. However, he may move on at the end of the campaign, according to the Italian newspaper.
There is also a suggestion that any side that wants to purchase the 25-year-old would most likely have to part with a fee of around €50 million (£44 million).
Alisson has been exceptional for Roma this season, with journalist David Amoyal hailing the Selecao star as the best goalkeeper in Serie A:

To me Alisson has probably been best keeper in Serie A this season, excellent shot stopper but also has very good ball distribution skills. Not surprising to see him linked to top clubs including PSG & Real Madrid https://t.co/wvJ3LFG6WF
Indeed, he’s added some crucial consistency to his game as of late, with errors at a minimum. That extra reliability has blossomed into an authority from Alisson, as he now looks so assured between the sticks.
Finding a top-class goalkeeper is a challenge for even the biggest clubs in European football, and for Liverpool, their current option between the sticks, Simon Mignolet, is a long way short of the division’s top bracket.

As noted by journalist Jack Lusby last month, the Belgian has been having a tough campaign:

Simon Mignolet has conceded the same amount of goals (23) as he has made saves in the Premier League this season (23). 🙂 https://t.co/99f36Fh11Z
Liverpool have made major moves in the transfer window, getting Virgil van Dijk in in January and lining up a deal for Naby Keita in the summer. The Reds supporters will now be desperate to see Klopp get to work on updating other weak points in the squad.
The goalkeeping position will surely be looked at, and given we’ve witnessed a footballer blossom in Alisson this season, it would be no surprise to see Liverpool make a move for him.

According to O Jogo (h/t Sport Witness), Bayern Munich will join Liverpool and Juventus in a battle to sign Sporting CP winger Gelson Martins.
The report noted the German champions are considering making a January move for Martins, while Liverpool have been linked with the 22-year-old since the summer. The Reds are also reported to have sent representatives to watch the youngster.
Per the piece, there’s a release clause of €60 million (£53 million) in the Portuguese’s current deal. However, Sport Witness added that “Sporting have a further clause which means they can pay the player €1.5 million, reject the €60 million, and up his clause to €100 million (£89 million).”
Martins has been exhilarating to watch since bursting on to the scene, lighting up the right flank for the Lisbon club. Journalist Amy Christophers is a big fan of the Portugal international:

Omg as if @GelsonMartins_ Could be off to #lfc if they get him will probably be signing of the window!! That boy is out of this world saw him play last week fastest footwork I swear!! #spicefers
While Martins does his best work on the right, where Mohamed Salah has been in devastating form for Liverpool lately, there would be so much talent for Klopp to work with if he could get the youngster in. He’d add another devastating dimension to what is already an impressive attacking force at Anfield.
Even so, Bayern and Juventus both represent massively tempting options for Martins should Sporting decide to sell in the summer.
