After Saturday’s ride to Station des Rousses, the 2017 Tour de France will ramp up the intensity even more for Sunday’s Stage 9, which will take the peloton over three climbs of hors categorie.

After a tricky start to the stage, the riders will face the Biche, Grand Colombier and Mont du Chat, three long, winding ascents that will push even the best climbers to their limit. While the Grand Colombier is one of the Tour’s most iconic climbs, the Mont du Chat is even tougher, and the ensuing descent could cause all kinds of carnage.
